Blood, falls like leaves
From autumn trees
Onwards, and upwards
To a crimson sky, but tell me the reason why
His body is floating up from the crumbling earth
Something is wrong here, but everything is unclear
I can't discern what the problem is
Tears, burn across
My face, like summer sun
Yet they're falling up to
The broken body of the man who, I held above
His limp frame before me now, defies logic and gravity
In his body, the axe head I won't believe that he's dead
I know I should call for help, instead I turn away
Death begins to whisper, to signify his passing
And looks towards the open wound
Where the life's escaping him
Yet still he clings to the fabric of reality
Desperately holds onto his fading life
Like sand it slips between the bones of his hands
And the devil's waiting with me
Whispers fault into my ear
How I'm feeling far too guilty now
Need to get away from here
I trace my footsteps back into the forest
But the bloody trail has disappeared
Though the wound remains in my thoughts
Yet no red path leads me back the way I came
To serve a dark reminder of his fate
A morbid sense distracts me from this place
Guilt turns to rage
I feel a sudden change
Like a stake drove through my
Heart is torn in two, I feel no more love for you
And if I hate myself I'll blame my creator
Deep in my inner core, my body prepared for war
Rolling in agony, I stumble to the ground
A curse, I spit upon
The sun for all my wrongs
It's his fault I'm sure
I know it's, futile but I want to tear apart
To reach out, and turn it off; the feeling is murderous...
